The head of his security service Amazon claims that hackers have managed to access Amazon's CEO Jeff Bezos's cell phone. In particular, accusations fall on the government of South Korea, which wanted to gain access to CEO's personal information.
Gavin de Becker, counselor security, was investigating the case of Bezos' personal leakage talks with Lauren Sánchez in January. According to the National Enquirer, Amazon's CEO and Sánchez were related.
Meanwhile, shortly before, Bezos's divorce was announced with his wife, MacKenzie.
Gavin de Becker said that the parent company of National Enquirer, American Media Inc., had contacted him and asked him not to disclose that the newspaper had collected information for Bezos using electronic interceptions.
De Becker states that he and his colleagues are absolutely certain that Saudi Arabian government had access to Bezos' mobile phone and personal information. What is unclear is whether and to what extent American Media Inc. knew all the details.
