Android's most recent top model Xiaomi, Mi 9, will be released in Europe on February 28. At a press conference in Barcelona, the company confirmed that the phone will be available either with 64GB or 128GB internal storage and will cost 449 € and 499 € respectively. The phone will feature FHD + (1080 × 2340) AMOLED 6,39 inch screen with notch and 19: 6. It is also powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor and features 6 GB RAM and 3.300 mAh battery.
Mi 9 runs Android Pie with Xiaomi's MIUI brand. It features a fast charger and a fingerprint sensor located below the screen. Mi 9 also has a three-camera system on the back: 42-megapixel main camera, 12-megapixel telephoto lens and 16-megapixel wide-angle lens. But none of these cameras have visual stabilization, according to the GSM Arena.
The phone will be available in the following colors: Piano Black, Ocean Blue and Lavender Violet. The last two have a glow that resembles the colors of the rainbow when you dangle it. There is no information about the availability of Mi 9 Explorer Edition. Still, Mi 9 seems to be good enough, combining excellent quality and good value compared to other phones. For example OnePlus 6T starts from 549 € in Europe and the recent Samsung Galaxy S10 from 909 €.
Xiaomi announced an 5G version of the luxurious Mi Mix 3 slider. The new version will maintain the same basic specifications, including the 2340 FHD + AMOLED screen (1080 × 6,4) and an 12 megapixel camera capable of shooting slow motion video 960 fps. Big changes, however, include the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, 3800 mAh battery, and the Snapdragon X50 modem that can handle two Gigabit download speeds thanks to a special cooling system. Mi Mix 3 5G will be available in Europe from May, at 599, in Onyx Black and Sapphire Blue.
