The first impressions from Huawei Y9

Η Huawei launched the new year with the release of the Y9 model in India. The smartphone available for Rs 15,990.

Construction and design

Huawei Y9's design and design are definitely impressive. It has a large 6,5 inch screen, while the glossy finish on the back of the phone gives it a great look. In addition, the Huawei Y9 comes in a variety of black and blue colors.

The Huawei Y9 comes with volume buttons and a power button on the right end and the SIM holder on the left. The phone supports dual micro SIM and a microSD card. At the bottom, the phone has a microUSB port, 3,5 mm headphone jack and speakers.

On the back, the smartphone has a dual camera, a fingerprint sensor and plenty of free space to keep it in comfort.

The phone has a large full-screen LCD screen with 19,5: 9 and 1080 x 2340 pixel resolution. It also has a notch, which houses the front dual camera.

Software and operating system

Huawei Y9 is powered by a Hisilicon Kirin 710 chipset. While in Malaysia the smartphone was released with RAM 6 GB and version with RAM 4 GB, India only announced the second model. The Y9 comes with built-in 64 GB storage, which can be further extended to 400 GB via microSD.

Huawei Y9 comes with the Android Oreo out-of-the-box, which features the company's EMUI. As with Honor 8C and Realme U1, Huawei Y9 features a dedicated DND gaming feature that gives you a seamless experience with mute calls and messages while playing games.

The smartphone features a setup of four cameras with "dual AI" front and rear sensors. It has a main 13 MP sensor with f / 1.8 aperture and a secondary 2 MP sensor with f / 2.4 aperture. The secondary sensor is also the depth sensor. At the front, the device also has a dual camera setup - an 16 MP f / 2,0 aperture and an 2 MP depth sensor with f / 2,4 aperture. The phone also supports portrait mode on both cameras.

The battery is another powerful feature of Huawei Y9. The device is powered by an 4.000 mAh battery and comes with a promise for almost 30 hours of life.

In conclusion, Huawei Y9 looks promising, especially for users who love to watch a lot of videos and enjoy playing games on their mobile. Also the price of Rs 15.000 is extremely competitive, which is also positive for this. It only remains to see if it will be able to defeat the competition.
