Netgear is determined to maintain its reputation for its beautiful and high-specification router. The company unveiled the first router to be released, using the 802.11ax protocol (also known as WIFI 6), and the photos are just impressive. Both routers that were announced, Nighthack AX8 and Nighthawk AX12, look more like stealth fighters than with networking equipment. But according to Netgear, there is a reason for this design, and that is for better antenna placement.
Both of the above mentioned models are capable of carrying up to 6 giga data bits per second and are equipped with quad-core processors that will easily cope with user-set rules. They are ready for your gigabit connection (or above) and will do the local file transfer lightning fast as the speeds listed are unrealistic!
Beyond the latest version WIRELESS which have these routers, have many other features that deserve to be mentioned. Each of the two routers has multiple ethernet ports (5 ports AX12 and 6 AX8), as well as an 5gbps port for the Internet connection. There is also the ability to control the network in conjunction with an Alexa or Google assistant. The main difference between the 2 router is how many simultaneous WIFI connections it can have (making heavy use without affecting the speed of the network). AX8 can handle up to 8 concurrent connections while AX12 12.
As you can imagine from the awesome features and innovative design of these two devices, their price will get out of the ordinary. The AX8 will cost about 400 dollars according to Amazon, and you expect it to be released in December. For the AX12 there is not yet a guide but you expect it to be released at the beginning of 2019.
