Foursquare, one of our favorite social media tools, today announced that it will soon be working with Tripadvisor. Both applications that offer services for finding locations, restaurants, cafes and other popular destinations based on user ratings start a new partnership.
Tripadvisor will use the Foursquare Pilgrim SDK, released in March of 2017, to help users get more time-related information about when they are in a particular location.
Since the beginning of the use of Foursquare, more than 13 have been double check-ins, which together with the analytics of the company show the huge use of the app and how users prefer to use it on the basis of always-on location sharing. For this reason, the app notifies the user with new suggestions each time the site changes.
The Pilgrim SDK in conjunction with Foursquare services, enables other applications to communicate with users based on the relevance of their wishes and their location. It is precisely this function that Tripadvisor endeavors to implement and is the reason for their collaboration.
Tripadvisor, updating its application and its official site, began focusing on social sharing and personal preferences and ratings of each user. Foursquare commended Tripadvisor for its above-mentioned move, advising it to always verify user reviews so that data and information remain accurate.
Exceeding half of the two users, it is estimated that Tripadvisor will be greatly helped by its collaboration with Foursquare.
