Vacation and Silent Mode of WhatsApp exclude unwanted notifications

vacationThe WhatsApp works on three new features to improve conversation and alerts for its users. As mentioned by the BetaInfo, the new Vacation and Silent mode will allow the user to enjoy their holidays without the irritating notifications they do not care about.

Vacation Mode

If you enable "Vacation Mode," your conversations will be saved in the files until the feature is turned off. This means you will not receive these annoying notifications anymore, and you will be able to get away from group chats without leaving the group.

There would also be a separate message alert option so you can find who sent you a message and then you can selectively control the messages you want.

Silent Mode

WhatsApp also plans to develop 'Silent Mode', which will prevent the app icon from showing unread messages and content from silent conversations.

Linked Accounts

The company also processes a third new feature, called "Linked Accounts", which is supposed to be developed for WhatsApp Business.

While the exact purpose behind this feature is so unclear so far, it is believed to allow the user to share his status in Facebook applications such as Instagram and Facebook stories.

It could also help in sharing for password retrieval purposes.
