The unsend feature of Gmail's desktop version certainly has saved us sometimes from embarrassing situations. Now, the feature has also been enabled for the official implementation of Gmail for mobile on the platform Android.
In accordance with Android Police, the "unsend" function will be displayed in the official application from the 8.7 version onwards. If you have not updated your app, download the latest version from the Google Play Store. If the feature is still not visible to you, you can try to clear the application and reinstall it.
How to use the unsend feature in the Android Gmail app?
- Write an email and enter the recipient's address to send it.
- Click shipping.
- At the bottom of the screen, you'll see a 'Cancel'next to'Sending'. You can click this option to cancel sending the e-mail.
- If you have already sent the message, but you want to suspend sending, you must click 'undoat the bottom of the screen. Clicking on this will return to the composing message page. The unsend button will be available for 10 seconds after sending the e-mail. After this time has elapsed, there is no way to recall the email.
The undo function in the Android Gmail app is an excellent way to undo emails sent by mistake.
