The new version of LibreOffice 6.0.3 has been released recently and promises to overcome its powerful Microsoft Office rival.
LibreOffice 6.0.3 is the main alternative for the Microsoft Office for organizations that want to move from Microsoft's software to the world of open source.
Of course, the new stable release includes all the improvements from the RC builds and comes with a new technical change to the log that will surely attract the attention of many of you.
Some of the most important changes it introduces are those for Linux, Mac and Windows computers. For example, on Linux and Mac, the new version can be installed along with LibreOffice 5.4, but they can not run at the same time. In Windows, however, installing the latest version automatically updates the existing LibreOffice installation.
We need to point out at this point a basic detail for Windows users. LibreOffice 6 requires you to have Windows 7 or later. This means that Windows XP can not receive the new update. Informative, the end of Windows XP announced on 8 April 2014 and has since released no security updates for the operating system.
You can download the new version of LibreOffice for Windows, Linux and Mac without any hesitation. Beware, however, this version is appropriate for program planners, so those who do not go as well as LibreOffice or do not regularly use it regularly stay in 5.4.6.
