The development of the Microsoft Surface series has forced Apple to rethink its strategy for its products, bringing new models to the market that originally did not like the company, such as the iPad Pro 2 on 1 that is a direct opponent of Surface Pro.
More recently, Microsoft launched the Surface Laptop, a more conventional laptop adopting the 2 approach to 1, but comes with Windows 10 S and support for Windows 10 Pro as well as a number of other improvements that Apple looks again to downgrade.
And while the Cupertino ignores the direction that embraces Microsoft, Asus is a much more active player in this industry and today is launching the sale of the ZenBook 3 Deluxe that was presented earlier this year at Computex.
In fact a Microsoft Surface Laptop rival and an alternative to Apple MacBook, the Asus ZenBook 3 Deluxe comes with terrific specifications, including Intel Core i7 processors that are also available in Microsoft models. You can equip the ZenBook with LPDDR3 RAM to 16GB and have a maximum 1TB SSD capacity.
And compared to Surface Laptop, you also have a type C USB port that provides support for a wide range of hardware, starting with screens and ending with storage.
Despite these specifications, the ZenBook 3 Deluxe reaches just 1,1 pounds, so it's also the lightest Microsoft laptop.
With regard to pricing, the most affordable configuration costs 1.299 dollars, but pricing increases as you go for higher specifications and more powerful hardware.
Surface Laptop, on the other hand, starts at $ 999, but the top configuration setting reaches $ 2.199 when it is equipped with the most powerful i7, 16GB and 512GB processors.
The device is currently available in the United States to major online retailers, including Amazon, and will be sold in more markets in the coming months.
