Motorola has just announced two affordable smartphones, the Motorola Moto E4 and Moto E4 Plus, both of which are partly made of metal. The phones follow the series of last year's Moto E3 and run Android 7.1 Nougat.
The two smartphones feature a water repellent coating and come with some differences, as the Moto E4 Plus is the largest and most capable phone. As such, the Moto E4 has an 7 inch 5 inch screen and comes with 2.800 mAh battery while running the Snapdragon 427 processor and offers 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB internal storage. The smartphone counts 144,5 x 72 x 9,3 mm.
As far as the rear camera capacity is concerned, the Moto E4 features an 8MP camera and 5MP front sensor with LED flash and comes with a fingerprint sensor in front. In this year's model, Motorola increased RAM capacity and internal storage, among other things, compared to last year's previous Moto E3. The Moto E4 will come in Black and Fine Gold colors.
The Moto E4 Plus has an 7,5 inch 5,5 inch screen and comes with an 5.000mAh battery, larger than the Moto E4. The Plus model measures 155 x 77,5 x 9,55 mm, larger than the standard version. Motorola says the phone battery can last for 2 days without recharging.
Inside, the Moto E4 Plus features a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 427 along with 2GB RAM and available in two versions depending on internal storage, either 16GB or 32GB. It has a fingerprint sensor and has a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front light with LED flash. The Moto E4 Plus will be available in Iron Gray and Fine Gold colors.
Motorola intends to sell the Moto E4 Plus for $ 179,99 (or € 199 in Europe) while the Moto E4 will be worth $ 129,99 (or € 149 in Europe). The Moto E4 standard will be sold as the exclusive Amazon Prime phone at a lower price. Motorola says the Moto E4 will be available on June 22.
