Microsoft continues the battle against Google in cloud productivity suite business, and today the company has launched a series of manuals that are supposed to make the transition to Office 365 smoother.
In particular, Microsoft's new drivers are targeting Google G Suite customers who are considering a possible transition to Office 365, with the company trying to help companies identify the benefits of their own productivity suite.
Documents provide meaningful information about existing applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Mail, OneDrive and Outlook People and Calendar, with more such manuals expected to be released soon.

The Microsoft cloud-based Office productivity suite is developing at a very fast pace, and the latest earnings reports from the company revealed that at the end of January there were a total of 24,9 million subscribers to Office 365. This segment only collected 7,4 billions of dollars, not less than 10 percent from the previous quarter.
As far as the Office 365 business division is concerned, which Microsoft specifically seeks to improve with these drivers, revenue in that unit improved by at least 47% in the last quarter, and the company is expected to continue growth in the coming quarters.
Microsoft's Office 365 has a total of 85 million active users per month, according to the software giant itself, and if the same growth trend is maintained, the company is likely to surpass the 100 milestone this year. Previous estimates estimate that 100 will reach millions of users by the end of 2017, but with rapid growth, there is a good chance that the next earnings reports will be surprising on this issue.
