Chuwi is one of the less famous Chinese companies trying to fight the big 2 1 devices market and after launching several devices to compete with Microsoft's Surface, the company is now trying to go a step further with the model called SurfBook.
Although his name may indicate that this new device is supposed to be an opponent of Microsoft's Surface Book, as it also includes dimensions close to the 2 device in Microsoft's 1, we would say that it has several differences.
Posted in IndieGogo where it has already reached its target - worth $ 30,000, the SurfBook will feature an 12,3 inch screen with 2736 × 1824 pixel resolution. The device will also come with a pen with 1024 pressure levels, while the newly upgraded generation of Microsoft has 4096 features.
A comparison published in the volunteer campaign shows that the screens of SurfBook Chuwi and Surface Pro 4 are almost the same, with the same dimensions and resolution, analogy and 10 multi-touch points.
As far as the processor is concerned, Chuwi is said to be even better because it offers an 4-core chips running at maximum 2.2 GHz speed, while Surface Pro comes with a 2 core processor at the same speed.
The difference is that Microsoft Surface offers really better performance because it is powered by Core i Intel, while Chuwi runs with an Intel Apollo Lake N3450 technology.
The device will also have memory RAM 6GB and maximum 128GB storage, while the battery will be a 10.000 mAh that should provide at least 8 autonomy times per charge.
Since the device has already reached its goal at IndieGogo, it should not take long before it comes in mass production, with Chuwi intending to launch it at the end of June.
