Do you have BMW and Windows Phone? What you need to know ...

H BMW in turn, decided to follow the tactics of most mobile application developers by abandoning Windows phones and focusing entirely on IOS and Android software. BMW

The official DriveNow application no longer supports Windows phones, but users can still book a vehicle via the phone. Obviously this is not the most convenient way of dealing with Windows users but if the application is no longer provided, some alternatives should be offered. In most cases, the easiest way to troubleshoot removal of an app is to go to the browser and place it on the service site, but unfortunately this option is not available this time.

So there comes a third-party application called Free2Move that offers similar features, of course supported by BMW DriveNow and other car-sharing services such as car2go and eMio.

"Unfortunately, the latest version of our application does not support Windows Phone. However, you can book your vehicle by calling a customer service card free of charge by opening a customer card, "says an official statement from the company.

Obviously, Android and IOS customers will continue to provide support for a basic reason: it's the choice of most users.

Unfortunately, Microsoft remains silent about the future of its mobile platform despite the growing number of developers and users who decide to transfer to Android and IOS. Let us note, of course, that the company has recently reiterated its commitment to telephones, but it is more like vague statements that do not provide specific data.
