Now you can order pizza through Alexa or Google Home

After mobile apps, which allow us to order food and beverages to make our life easier, nowadays voice assistants also have this opportunity. Now you can set Amazon Echo or Google Home to order pizza!

With Echo, you have two choices: Pizza Hut and Domino's, but more choices will definitely come up soon. Specifically:

For Pizza Hut

To get started, turn on Alexa's Pizza Hut skill in two ways: online, through the Alexa app or asking Alexa to make it possible.

After enabling, you will be prompted to log in to your Pizza Hut account. If you already have an account, you can simply enter it E-mail and your password. If you do not have one, you can create one through the Alexa app: Once you have logged in to your account, you can say "Alexa, opened Pizza Hut".

If you decide to make a new order, you will be given some popular options for toppings (pepperoni, cheese, etc.), breadcrumbs and choices for soft drinks.

You also have the option to pay by credit card or cash, and you can choose for a local delivery or pick it up from the store.

For Domino's Pizza

You must first activate the skill through Alexa. Then you create a "Pizza Profile" (also known as an account) at www.dominos.com. Then make sure you have an "Easy Order" or a recent order stored in your profile. To save an order as "Easy Order" simply tick the box above the "Place your order" button: Then you can say: "Alexa, open Domino's and make my Easy Order." And you are ready.

You can also keep track of your pizza status by saying "Alexa, asked Domino's to track my order."

The only limitation is that Alexa can only order the stored "Easy Order". If you want something else, you need to log in to your Pizza Profile and change "Easy Order" to something else.

With Google Home

Currently, the only choice for pizza ordering through Google Home is Domino's.

Ordering pizza through Google Home is almost the same as with Echo and you need to create an "Easy Order" set up in your Pizza Profile in advance.

Just like with Alexa's Echo, you need to enable Domino's within the Google App App. But once it's ready to get started, you just need to say "OK Google, talk to Domino's."
