Now, three months later, Microsoft's threat assessment team has felt quite confident, apparently, with the feedback it has received to publicly release the Advance Threat Analytics (ATA) v 1.7 to the consumer.

In addition to the updates, ATA v 1.7 also allows support for Windows Server 2016 and Windows Server core, as well as access control based on user role and all thanks to feedback from customers during the preview period.

Microsoft allows automatic download of ATA v 1.7 and ATA Center through Micrsoft Update. Configuring or modifying the ATA Gateways auto upgrade section can be done at the ATA Center immediately after the upgrade.

For those interested, Micrsoft's Cloud and Enterprise Department encourages you to follow @IdanPlotnik on Twitter or go for more details about new information at Enterprise Mobility + Security blog.
